ANNIE'S HOPE CENTER FOR GROWING AND HEALING SEEKS TO PROVIDE SAFE HOUSING AND RESOURCES FOR WOMEN SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THIS WILL BE A HANDS ON EXPERIENCE AS THE WOMEN WILL BE TAUGHT HOW TO GARDEN AND CREATE NATURAL PRODUCTS WHILE LIVING IN COMMUNITY WITH EACH OTHER. A SUPPORT SYSTEM OF COUNSELORS AND FAITH BASED LEADERS WILL BE PROVIDED AS THE WOMEN GROW IN SELF-ESTEEM AND INDEPENDENCE.

STARTING SEPTEMBER 2021, THERE WERE TWO RESIDENTS IN THE HOME FULL-TIME WHO RECEIVED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, YOGA AND ART THERAPY, AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TRAUMA GROUP SUPPORT COUNSELING. ALL BASIC NEEDS WERE MET FOR HOUSING, FOOD AND MEDICAL EXPENSES.
