FAR AWAY PROJECTS IS A 501(C)3 NONPROFIT FISCAL SPONSORSHIP ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS GLOBAL SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECTS AND GRASSROOTS EFFORTS AROUND THE WORLD.

A LARGE CARBON MITIGATION PRJECT HAS BEEN OUR LARGEST PROJECT TO DATE. PROJECT VESTA UTILIZES A PROPRIETARY PROCESS TO USE COMMONLY OCCURRING CRUSHED STONE AND NATURAL WAVE ACTION TO CAPTURE CARPON WITH NO ADDITIONAL ENERGY USAGE ONCE THE ROCKS HAVE BEEN PLACED IN SITU. A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF LAB TESTING IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT THE RATES OF CARBON CAPTURE ARE CORRECTLY ASSESSED.
IN 2021 WE WELCOMED 27 PROJECTS DOING CRITICAL WORK TO ADVANCE ALL 17 OF THE UNS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AROUND THE WORLD. WE WELCOMED GENEROUS DONATIONS FROM OVER 1,000 DONORS AND FOUNDATIONS, AND DIRECTED 96.2% OF TOTAL FUNDS RAISED INTO THE HANDS OF PROJECT LEADS AND THEIR PROGRAMMING EXPENSES.
