IN FULFILLING ITS EDUCATION AND CHARACTER BUILDING BASED MISSION YUDA BANDS FUNDED SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO PAY SCHOOLS FEES FOR SEVERAL STUDENTS IN GUATEMALA AND ZIMBABWE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 12 AND 25. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS SPONSORED IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES DROPPED TO 100. THESE STUDENTS CONTINUE TO RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM LOCAL GUIDANCE DIRECTORS AS WELL AS FINANCIAL SUPPORT INCLUDING PAYING FOR SCHOOL FEES, MATERIALS FOR SERVICE PROJECTS, BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT RENTAL FOR WORKSHOPS TEACHING LIFE SKILLS, AND OTHER EXPENSES INCIDENT TO PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING SALARIES FOR LOCAL ON-SITE DIRECTORS.
