IN 2022, THE STELLA H. OAKS FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS MISSION TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS THAT ENABLE SINGLE MOTHERS TO RECEIVE THE EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING THEY NEED TO FULFILL THEIR EDUCATIONAL GOALS, ENTER THE WORKFORCE, AND SUPPORT THEIR CHILDREN. THIS YEAR THE FOUNDATION INCREASED THE NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED AND THE AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP MONEY GRANTED. AWARD RECIPIENTS SEEK TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION THROUGH TRADITIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION AND THROUGH TECHNICAL PROGRAMS AND CERTIFICATES.
