FRIENDS OF CAREER SOLUTIONS IS RESPONDING TO THE INCREASING NEED IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA FOR PROGRAMS SERVING LOW INCOME YOUTH WHO LACK ACADEMIC AND APPLIED SKILLS CRITICAL FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE WORKPLACE NEEDS. THE MOST NOTABLE PROGRAM OFFERED IS CAREERONE, A SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT CAMP THAT TARGETS AT-RISK YOUTH. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS BUSINESSES AND HELPS JOB SEEKERS CONNECT TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT. THIS INCLUDES IDENTIFYING AND ATTRACTING DIFFERENT POPULATIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY - IMMIGRANTS, VETERANS, EX-OFFENDERS, DISABLED, ETC.
