SURGE CASE WORKERS. DHS AND LSS CONTRACTED MUSLIM VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION, AND THE FRESH START ORGANIZATION WAS A SUBCONTRACTOR FROM MARCH 2022-SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 TO PROVIDE SURGE SUPPORT ASSISTANCE. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES 6.5 PERCENT ADMIN FEE, EVERYTHING ELSE FOR THE CONTRACTOR PAY WAS TREATED AS A PASS-THROUGH.
EMERGENCY RESETTLEMENT NEEDS SERVES OVER 500 INDIVIDUALS, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE RANGES FROM TRANSPORTATION NEEDS, GROCERIES, HOUSING ASSITANCE, MEDICAL ATTENTION, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.
COMMUNITY MORALE BUILDING CONTINUOUS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT, CULTURAL EVENTS LIKE HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING, HOLIDAYS INCLUDING EID PICNIC. SERVES 250 TO 300 PER EVENT.
