Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
OUTREACH OBJECTIVES WERE TO EXPAND THE AGENCY FOOTPRINT IN THE BALANCE OF THE STATE. IN 2022, WE SERVED VETERANS AND FAMILIES IN 32 COUNTIES ACROSS THE STATE. INCREASES EXPERIENCED IN BOTH THE POST 9/11 AND HISPANIC VETERAN SEGMENTS, IN LINE WITH OUR GOALS TO GROW PENETRATION OF THESE UNDERSERVED VETERAN POPULATIONS. POST 9/11 VETERANS WERE 20% OF OUR CENSUS; HISPANIC VETERANS WERE 7.5%. WITH AN ECONOMY EXPERIENCING INFLATION, WE WERE ABLE TO ATTRACT $20,000 IN FUNDING FROM THE BOB WOODRUFF FOUNDATION TO ASSIST COUNTIES WHO HAD RUN OUT OF VETERAN FUNDING EARLY IN THE YEAR, ENSURING THAT LOW INCOME VETERANS IN THOSE COUNTIES COULD RECEIVED NEEDED RESOURCES AND ASSISTANCE.
