NATIONAL REDISTRICTING FOUNDATION WILL INITIATE LAWSUITS UNDER THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND THE FEDERAL VOTING RIGHTS ACT TO CHALLENGE BOTH CONGRESSIONAL AND STATE LEGISLATIVE MAPS THAT DIVVY VOTERS UP BASED ON RACE AND PARTISANSHIP. THE FOUNDATION WILL IDENTIFY THE STATE LEGISLATURES THAT HAVE ENGAGED IN UNCONSTITUTIONAL RACIAL AND PARTISAN GERRYMANDERS AND STRATEGIZE ABOUT WHICH STATES TO SUE IN ORDER TO CREATE FEWER RACIALLY-TINGED MAPS AND CREATE MAJORITY-MINORITY DISTRICTS UNDER THE VOTING RIGHTS ACT.
