BY ADVANCING THE CHURCH OF INCARNATION'S MINISTRY "TO THE LEAST OF THESE," THROUGH PROMOTING THE REVITALIZATION OF THE UNDERSERVED ROSELAND COMMUNITY IN DALLAS, TEXAS. THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY IS LOCATED LESS THAN A MILE FROM THE CHURCH AND INCLUDES THE LOW-INCOME, GOVERNMENT-OWNED ROSELAND HOMES COMPLEX, WHICH HOUSES OVER 600 FAMILIES AND SENIOR CITIZENS.

A 2017 REPORT PREPARED BY THE INSTITUTE OF URBAN POLICY RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS FOUND THAT THE AVERAGE INCOME OF A ROSELAND HOMES HOUSEHOLD IS BELOW $15,000, 70% OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE DO NOT GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND 60% OF THOSE 16 YEARS AND OLDER ARE UNEMPLOYED. THE CHURCH HAS HISTORICALLY BEEN ENGAGED IN MINISTRY TO THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY THROUGH BIBLE STUDY GROUPS, MENTORING, HEALTH FAIRS, ANGEL TREE'S CHRISTMAS MINISTRY AND CRISIS INTERVENTION. INCARNATION PLACE WILL EXPAND ON THE CHURCH'S HISTORICAL PROGRAMS TO BETTER SERVE THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY. SPECIFICALLY, INCARNATION PLACE WILL DEEPEN THE CHURCH'S MINISTRY IN THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY BY EITHER PROVIDING OR DISTRIBUTING FUNDS TO SECTION 501(C)(3) PUBLIC CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE CROSS-DISCIPLINARY SERVICES TO THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY RELATING TO: MENTAL HEALTH ADULT EDUCATION YOUTH MENTORING AND RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PARENTING CLASSES CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES JOB TRAINING AND SUPPORT WITH EMPLOYMENT ISSUES 12 STEP PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS AND TEENSTHE SERVICES AND PROGRAMS OFFERED WILL BE BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE ROSELAND COMMUNITY.
