ASDEC IS A NONPROFIT FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED IN JAN 2000 TO TRAIN TEACHERS ACADEMIC THERAPISTS IN RESEARCH-BASED MULTI-SENSORY TECHNIQUES DESIGNED TO IMPROVE STUDENT PERFORMANCE IN READING, STUDY SKILLS, MATH.

ASDEC QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS TRAINED 30 ACADEMIC LANGUAGE THERAPISTS, PROVIDING 200 HOURS OF GRADUATE LEVEL SCIENCE-BASED INSTRUCTION AND 700 HOURS OF CLINICAL SUPERVISION. OUR MATH SPECIALIST TRAINED OVER 200 CLASSROOM EDUCATORS, 17 OF WHOM COMPLETED A 10-MONTH CLINICAL PRACTICE. ASDEC INSTRUCTORS TRAINED AND CERTIFIED 40 PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATORS IN MARYLAND TO TEACH SCIENCE-BASED READING.
