THE FESTIVAL AT SANDPOINT STRIVES TO PROVIDE A RICH MUSIC EXPERIENCE PRESENTING A WIDE RANGE OF CONCERTS IN AN INTIMATE OUTDOOR SETTING ACCESSIBLE TO LOCAL AND REGIONAL AUDIENCES, CULTIVATE CULTURE AND ETHNIC DIVERSITY, FOSTER A LOVE OF MUSIC THROUGH ONGOING YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND STIMULATE ECONOMIC GROWTH FOR OUR COMMUNITY.

THANKS TO CONTINUED CONTRIBUTIONS AND GRANTS THE FESTIVAL WAS ABLE TO BRING BACK THE FESTIVAL'S MAIN MUSIC PROGRAM. THE FESTIVAL AT SANDPOINT PRESENTS AN ANNUAL CONCERT SERIES DURING THE LAST WEEK OF JULY AND FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST ON THE SHORES OF LAKE PEND OREILLE IN SANDPOINT, IDAHO, MAKING EXCEPTIONAL ARTISTS AND GREAT PERFORMANCES ACCESSIBLE TO THE COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING REGION. THE FESTIVAL STRIVES TO CULTIVATE CULTURAL AND ETHNIC DIVERSITY AND TO PURSUE ALL OPPORTUNITIES TO INSPIRE, ENLIGHTEN AND EDUCATE OUR COMMUNITY WITH THE GREATEST POSSIBLE MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS OF THE WORLD FORMS NEW AND OLD, AND ARTISTS KNOWN AND UNKNOWN. WE CURATE AN ECLECTIC LINE-UP INCLUDING CLASSICAL SYMPHONIC, FOLK, JAZZ, BLUES, WORLD, ROCK, COUNTRY AND POPULAR MUSIC AT PRICES THAT ARE AFFORDABLE TO OUR LOCAL AUDIENCES, MAKING SANDPOINT A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE. WE PRESENT OUR CONCERTS IN AN INTIMATE SETTING WHICH CELEBRATES THE NATURAL BEAUTY AND CHARM OF OUR SMALL CITY, MAKING SANDPOINT AN ATTRACTIVE PLACE TO VISIT. THE FESTIVAL AT SANDPOINT ALSO INTRODUCED OUR NEW LIVE FROM 525 SERIES OF INTIMATE MINI- CONCERTS WITH SPACE FOR 30 AUDIENCE MEMBERS, PROVIDING SAFE ACCESS TO MUSIC AND FINANCIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSICIANS DURING AN UNPRECEDENTED TIME.
THANKS TO CONTINUED CONTRIBUTIONS AND GRANTS THE FESTIVAL WAS ABLE TO BRING BACK MOST SERVICE PROGRAMS THIS YEAR. IN ADDITION TO PRESENTING OUR SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, THE FESTIVAL IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING CORRESPONDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: -YOUTH MUSIC OUTREACH: WE PROVIDE SCHOOL PERFORMANCES AND/OR HANDS-ON MUSIC LESSONS FOR PRE-K THROUGH 5TH GRADE THROUGHOUT SCHOOLS IN BONNER COUNTY. THIS PROGRAM INTRODUCES AND EXPOSES KIDS TO MUSIC IN DIFFERENT FORMS, WITH THE HOPE OF FOSTERING A LIFETIME LOVE OF MUSIC. -YOUTH TICKET DONATION PROGRAM: WE WORK WITH THE BONNER COUNTY FOOD BANK, SCHOOL DISTRICT COUNSELORS, BONNER HOMELESS TRANSITIONS, KINDERHAVEN, AND OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO DONATE TICKETS TO YOUTH AND FAMILIES TO ATTEND OUR FAMILY MATINEE CONCERT OR OUR SYMPHONIC GRAND FINALE, WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO ATTEND. -INSTRUMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: ASSISTING STUDENTS ACCESS TO INSTRUMENTS SO THAT THEY CAN PARTICIPATE IN BAND REGARDLESS OF NEED. -YOUTH STRINGS PROGRAMS: BEGINNING, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED ORCHESTRA INSTRUCTION FREE OF COST WITH COMMUNITY CONCERTS TWICE A YEAR. -FAMILY MATINEE CONCERT: AN AFFORDABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO SHARE MUSIC WITH PERFORMANCES BY WORLD-CLASS MUSICIANS AND A FULL ORCHESTRA. -SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE BOUND STUDENTS: INSTRUMENTAL, SONGWRITING, DANCE/THEATER, VOCAL PERFORMANCE.
