BOISE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION, INC. (THE ASSOCIATION) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ENTITY ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING EDUCATION AND IMPROVING INSTRUCTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL, AND ENGAGING IN LABOR-RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EDUCATION PROFESSION. MEMBERSHIP IS COMPRISED OF EMPLOYEES OF THE BOISE SCHOOL DISTRICT, WHICH CONSTITUTES REGION 7 OF THE IDAHO EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (IEA). DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE ASSOCIATION SAW A GREAT MANY EMPLOYEES TAKING LEAVES OF ABSENCE, RETIRING AND LEAVING THE PROFESSION. (CONTINUED TO SCHEDULE O) ONLINE LEARNING WAS IMPLEMENTED FOR A LARGE PORTION OF THE DISTRICT'S STUDENTS AS WELL AS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROTOCOLS FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING. THE ASSOCIATION WORKED WITH THE BOISE SCHOOL DISTRICT IN CREATING AND IMPLEMENTING THESE CHANGES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR MEMBERS AND STUDENTS.
