EXHIBITIONS - THE MUSEUM PRESENTS A RANGE OF ART EXHIBITIONS ANNUALLY, ADDRESSING A WIDE SPECTRUM OF ARTISTS, ARTISTIC MEDIA, TIME PERIODS AND STYLES, ALL OF WHICH REFLECT DIVERSITY AND EXCELLENCE IN THE VISUAL ARTS.
EDUCATION - THE MUSEUM'S EDUCATION PROGRAMS PROVIDE VISITORS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO HAVE MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES WITH ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART. LECTURES, TOURS, CLASSES, CAMPS, OUTREACH, CATALOGUES, INTERPRETIVE TEXT PANELS, AUDIO TOURS, HANDOUTS, IN-GALLERY MATERIALS, VIDEOS AND TEACHER EDUCATION ENHANCE EXHIBITIONS AND MEET THE LEARNING NEEDS OF PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES.
ART COLLECTION - BOISE ART MUSEUM IS THE ONLY NATIONALLY ACCREDITED COLLECTING ART MUSEUM IN IDAHO THAT ACTIVELY COLLECTS AND CONSERVES VISUAL ART. THE MUSEUM HAS A GROWING COLLECTION OF MORE THAN 4,200 ART OBJECTS COMPRISED OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY AMERICAN ART INCLUDING ARTISTS FROM IDAHO AND THE NORTHWEST, AS WELL AS ASIAN AND AFRICAN ART.
