THE MONTANA CASA/GAL ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES LOCAL CASA/GAL PROGRAMS IN PROVIDING COURT APPOINTED VOLUNTEER ADVOCACY SO EVERY ABUSED OR NEGLECTED CHILD IN MONTANA CAN BE SAFE, HAVE A PERMANENT HOME AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO THRIVE.

SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO LOCAL PROGRAMS - OUR STATE CASA / GAL ASSOCIATION WORKS TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL PROGRAMS IN THEIR PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION, VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND MARKETING SO THEY CAN CONCENTRATE ON THE CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT CASES IN THEIR COMMUNITY. 1,783 MONTANA CHILDREN HAD A CASA IN 2021 COMPLETED THE DEVELOPMENT OF MTCASA INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPED TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR LOCAL PROGRAMS TO MEET NATIONAL CASA/GAL ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS IN 2021, PROCURED APPROXIMATELY 30,000 FROM INDIVIDUAL DONORS DUE TO MTCASA BOARD ENGAGEMENT ESTABLISHMENT OF MTCASA ENDOWMENT VIA MONTANA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION DEVELOPED AND PROVIDED TRAININGS TO LOCAL PROGRAM STAFF, ADVOCATES AND BOARD MEMBERS VIA WEBINAR SERIES ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED IN MONTANA LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS BY PROVIDING INFORMATION TO LEGISLATORS AND THE GOVERNOR ESTABLISHED WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH STATE STAKEHOLDERS SUCH AS THE MONTANA SUPREME COURT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES, LINKING SYSTEMS OF CARE, MONTANA LEGISLATIVE INTERIM COMMITTEE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, AND CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT CONFERENCE
