SHC MEDICAL CENTER - TOPPENISH DBA ASTRIA TOPPENISH HOSPITAL (THE HOSPITAL) IS A 63-BED FACILITY PROVIDING MEDICAL SERVICES 24 HOURS A DAY, 365 DAYS A YEAR. THE HOSPITAL HAS AN EXPANDED SURGERY CAPABILITY, A PEDIATRICS AREA AND A FAMILY MATERNITY CENTER. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED 9,101 PATIENT DAYS, 43,910 OUTPATIENT VISITS, 14,398 EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS, AND 348 BIRTHS DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD. SHC TOPPENISH PROVIDES CARE TO PERSONS COVERED BY GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS AT BELOW COST AND TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY.
