WE PURSUE INNOVATIVE WAYS TO TRANSFORM HEALTH CARE BY KEEPING PEOPLE HEALTHY, AND MAKING OUR SERVICES MORE CONVENIENT, ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE FOR ALL. IN AN INCREASINGLY UNCERTAIN WORLD, WE ARE COMMITTED TO HIGH-QUALITY, COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF COVERAGE OR ABILITY TO PAY. IN 2021 WE FOCUSED ON IDENTIFIED PRIORITY NEEDS OF ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, SAFE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING, ACCESS TO SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT, AND SAFE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING. CARING FOR MONTANA DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC IN 2021 AS COMMUNITY NEEDS GREW THROUGHOUT THE STATE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, PROVIDENCE MONTANA MOBILIZED TO RESPOND TO COMMUNITY NEED.FOOD INSECURITY AND POOR NUTRITIONFUNDING WAS PROVIDED TO LOCAL NONPROFITS TO ENSURE STUDENTS IN FOOD-INSECURE HOUSEHOLDS RECEIVE TRANSPORTATION TO SCHOOL FOR MEALS AND ACTIVITIES WHILE SCHOOL IS ON BREAK.MENTAL HEALTHPROVIDENCE MEDICAL GROUP ADDED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE MANAGERS TO NINE PRIMARY CARE CLINICS WITH FUNDING FROM MONTANA HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION IN 2020. IN 2021, OVER 2,500 INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SESSIONS WERE COMPLETED IN FOR PATIENTS OF PROVIDENCE MONTANA (INCLUDES ST. JOSEPH MEDICAL CENTER AND PROVIDENCE MEDICAL GROUP).ACCESS TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER TREATMENTIN LAKE COUNTY, JOURNEY OF HOPE IS DESIGNED TO IDENTIFY EARLY COMPLICATIONS FROM SUBSTANCE USE AND PREGNANCY, AND THEN SUPPORTS PATIENTS AND NEWBORNS ON A PATH TOWARD RECOVERY. MORE THAN FIVE YEARS IN THE MAKING, JOURNEY OF HOPE (FORMERLY WRAPPED IN HOPE) COMBINES PRE-AND POST-NATAL SCREENINGS, LACTATION CLINIC SERVICES, AND PEDIATRIC INTERVENTIONS WITH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE TO SUPPORT PARENTS AND INFANTS WITH HEALTH ISSUES CAUSED BY SUBSTANCE USE. THE PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS POSTPARTUM SUPPORT.MEDICATION ASSISTANCE PRESCRIPTIONS FUNDED BY HOSPITAL FOR PATIENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD MEDICATION. ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE YEAR-ROUND ASSISTANCE FOR ENROLLMENT IN MEDICAID AND MARKETPLACE PLANS; ASSISTANCE FOR APPLYING FOR SSDI.
