SALEM HEALTH WEST VALLEY IS A CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL SERVING THE RURAL POLK COUNTY REGION WITH A POPULATION OF 88,916. SERVICES INCLUDE: DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING PROCEDURES 26,788, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VISITS 14,229, INPATIENT ADMISSIONS 157, LABORATORY TESTS/DRAWS 291,532, SURGERIES 409.
SALEM HEALTH WEST VALLEY PROVIDES HEALTHCARE TO PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. IN THE 12 MONTHS ENDED 6/30/21, THE COST OF SERVICES PROVIDED AS A COMMUNITY BENEFIT TOTALED $6M.
