WHILE FOCUSED ON CREATING A NETWORK AND PRESENCE FOR PROFESSIONALS, STUDENTS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS SEEKING NEW SKILLS, HIGHER EDUCATION PREPARATION, AND TRAINING'S TO IMPROVE THEIR COMMUNITIES, QUEERS WITH CAREERS HAS HELPED INCREASE CONFIDENCE AMONG COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO PURSUE THEIR GOALS. QUEERS WITH CAREERS CONNECTS WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE TO PROVIDE MENTORSHIPS AND GUIDANCE ON CAREER ASPIRATIONS AND MAPPING AND PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS. THE CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER DEVELOPED INFRASTRUCTURE ON HOW TO OUTREACH COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPED A SUSTAINABILITY PLAN FOR THE ORGANIZATION. THE PUBLIC RELATIONS & ADVOCACY DIRECTOR WORKED TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE ON HOW TO OUTREACH AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY. QUEERS WITH CAREERS CREATED A NETWORK THROUGH MAILING LISTS, YOUTUBE PRESENCE, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA EDUCATION. OUR NETWORK CURRENTLY CONSIST OF 526 ACTIVE MEMBERS, AND 850 TOTAL MEMBERS.
