HEART VALVE VOICE US IS A NONPROFIT PATIENT ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION. WE ADVOCATE FOR EARLY DETECTION, MEANINGFUL SUPPORT, AND TIMELY ACCESS TO APPROPRIATE TREATMENT FOR ALL PEOPLE AFFECTED BY HEART VALVE DISEASE.

PATIENT COMMUNITY BUILDING AND AWARENESSHEART VALVE VOICE BUILT THE MY VALVE MY VOICE PATIENT COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPED RELATED SOCIAL MEDIA, VIDEO AND OTHER CAMPAIGNS TO ENGAGE PATIENTS AND RAISE AWARENESS OF HEART VALVE DISEASE. THIS WAS FUNDED BY AN EVERY HEARTBEAT MATTERS GRANT FROM THE EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES FOUNDATION.
JUST GO CAMPAIGNAS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, MANY HEART VALVE PATIENTS WERE FORGOING APPOINTMENTS WITH THEIR CARDIOLOGISTS OR DELAYING PROCEDURES. HEART VALVE VOICE US LAUNCHED A TWO-PHASED JUST GO CAMPAIGN TO ENCOURGAE PATIENTS TO STAY ENGAGED IN THEIR CARE. THE FIRST STAGE, FUNDED BY EDWARDS LIFESCIENCES, INVOLVED ETENSIVE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL ADVERTISING. THE SECOND PHASE FOCUSED ON PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS (PSAS) FUNDED BY ABBOTT.
VALVE IN RESEARCHWITH A EUGENE WASHINGTON ENGAGEMENT AWARD FROM THE PATIENT CENTERED OUTCOMES RESEARCH INSTITUTE. HEART VALVE VOICE US INITIATED A VIRTUAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR PATIENTS TO BECOME RESEARCH ADVISORS.
