THURSDAY GATHERING - THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED GATHERINGS THROUGHOUT 2021. THE EVENTS WERE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
OPPORTUNITY CONNECT DEVELOPS DEEP COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS THAT CONNECT BIPOC ENTREPRENEURS TO CAPITAL AND OPPORTUNITY THROUGH: 1) BUSINESS PLAN TRAINING; 2) CHARACTER-BASED AND ALTERNATIVE LENDING; 3) TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND INDIVIDUALIZED GROWTH CONSULTING; AND 4) REAL ESTATE AND RETAIL INCUBATION. THIS INITIATIVE MAXIMIZED THE IMPACT PLACE BASED STRATEGY IN OVERTOWN, MIAMI BY SERVING 70 LMI ENTREPRENEURS OF COLOUR, FACILITATING OVER 800 HOURS OF TRAINING AND 1:1 ADVISING, AND CONVENING A COLLABORATIVE NETWORK OF 36 ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPPORT PARTNERS WITHIN GOVERNMENT, NONPROFITS, AND CORPORATE SECTORS.
