THE ORGANIZATION, DOING BUSINESS AS THE HURWITZ FELLOWSHIP, WILL RECRUIT, SELECT, AND TRAIN THE CHILDREN FROM FIRST GENERATION EDUCATION REFORM SCHOOLS, ALONG WITH THEIR PEERS, WHO ARE PREPARED TO BE THE NEXT GENERATION SCHOOL LEADERS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THESE LEADERS WILL BE SCHOOL FOUNDERS, STARTING NEW SCHOOLS, AS WELL AS SCHOOL LEADERS, ASSUMING LEADERSHIP OF EXISTING SCHOOLS. THE HURWITZ FELLOWSHIP IS FLEXIBLE ON THE TYPE OF SCHOOL, AS LONG AS OUR FELLOWS ARE RETURNING TO THEIR COMMUNITIES TO HELP MORE CHILDREN LEARN AND GROW. THUS THE HURWITZ FELLOWSHIP WILL PAY IT - FORWARD TO HELP THE FIRST GENERATION OF EDUCATION REFORM KIDS BE SUCCESSFUL AS THEY LEAD SCHOOLS TO EXPAND THE MOVEMENT IN THEIR COMMUNITY.
