THE VISIONARIA FOR SCHOOLS PROGRAM IS TO ENABLE ALL STUDENTS IN PARTICIPATING SECONDARY SCHOOLS TO CONTRIBUTE TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES TEACHING STRATEGIES, COACHING SUPPORT, AND TEAM-BASED PROJECT ACTIVITIES FOR USE IN THE CLASSROOM THAT BUILD STUDENTS' SOCIO-EMOTIONAL SKILLS AND COLLABORATE WITH OTHER COMMUNITY LEADERS. IN 2021 THE PROGRAM CONTINUED WITH ADDITIONAL TEACHER TRAINING SESSIONS RELATED TO GENDER EQUALITY IN THE CLASSROOM AND SUPPORT FOR STUDENT TEAMS TO CONNECT WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEADERS REGARDING THEIR TEAM PROJECTS. THE PROGRAM ALSO CONTINUED OFFERING THE "LEADER WITH A VISION PRIZE" TO ELIGIBLE STUDENT TEAMS, AND CONTINUED INCORPORATED A NEW "WALK THE TALK" TEACHER TRAINING ADDITION TO PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY AND EQUAL PARTICIPATION IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. THIS PROGRAM IS NOW BEING EXECUTED THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH A NEW SISTER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CALLED 'VISIONARIA PERU', WHICH IS AN INDEPENDENT PERUVIAN NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED WITH SUPPORT FROM VISIONARIA NETWORK.
