MISSION GAIT SAW AN INCREASE IN VIEWERSHIP OF THE THEIR ONLINE RESOURCES, A 213% INCREASE IN VIEWS AND 260% INCREASE IN SUBSCRIBERS (10,000+).

MISSION GAIT OFFERED 18 PRESENTATIONS TO STUDENTS AND THREE WEEKEND COURSES REACHING 65 PROFESSIONALS.3)EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS: MISSION GAIT GENERATED OVER 100 FREE EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS ON TECHNIQUES AND SKILLS FOR WORKING WITH THE AMPUTEE COMMUNITY, INCLUDING CASE STUDIES, LECTURES, INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS, AND PATIENT PERSPECTIVE INTERVIEWS. THESE EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS HAVE RECEIVED OVER 55,000 VIEWS FROM MORE THAN 100 COUNTRIES ACROSS THE GLOBE.
COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION PROGRAM: MISSION GAIT IS RESETTING THE LIMITS PLACED ON THOSE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING THE LOSS OF FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT DUE TO COMPLEX GAIT CONDITIONS. "TO MOVE AGAIN WITH CONFIDENCE." MISSION GAIT BELIEVES IN THE ABILITY OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT TO PREVAIL AND THAT A PERSON'S ABILITIES ALWAYS OUTWEIGH THEIR DISABILITIES. OUR REINTEGRATION PROGRAM IS WORKING WITH PATIENTS WHO ARE SETTING GOALS TO ENHANCE THEIR LIVES. MISSION GAIT IS BY THEIR SIDE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL. THE "DISCOVER YOUR POSSIBLE" EVENT WAS DEVELOPED TO ENCOURAGE AMPUTEES, CAREGIVERS, AND PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. MISSION GAIT WILL PARTNER WITH THE COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS AND PROVIDES SERVICES TO THIS PATIENT POPULATION. THE FINAL GOAL WILL BE TO LAUNCH SIMILAR EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS ALL OVER THE GLOBE VIA PARTNERS.
WALKING FREE PROGRAM: AN INTERNATIONAL REHABILITATION INITIATIVE SO THAT "NO AMPUTEE IS LEFT BEHIND, AND NO PHYSICAL THERAPIST IS LEFT WITHOUT THE SKILLS." PROFESSIONAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN DONATED TO THE PLANNING PHASE OF OUR MOST CURRENT INITIATIVE OF BUILDING MOBILE PROSTHETIC LABS THAT CAN BE IN AN AREA OF NEED AT ANY TIME. WALKING FREE WAS FOUNDED IN 2000 AS PART OF 'PHYSICIANS FOR PEACE.' IN JUNE 2021, WALKING FREE SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SERVICES, SOLOMON ISLANDS, TO BRING STATE-OF-THE-ART PROSTHETIC CARE TO AMPUTEES LIVING IN THE COUNTRY. THE PROJECT IS UNIQUE IN ITS DESIGN AS IT WILL PROVIDE A FULLY OUTFITTED PROSTHETIC SHOP INSIDE OF A 40 FOOT SHIPPING CONTAINER. THE CONTAINER WILL HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS NEEDED TO CREATE ARTIFICIAL LIMBS.
