THEY ARE ON ORDER TO BE INSTALLED BY 6/1/2024. WE CONTINUED LEARNING THE PAST PERFECT SOFTWARE. A NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR THE DONATIONS OF ARTIFACTS, PHOTOS, BOOKS, ETC. HAS BEEN CREATED AND BY THE END OF 2023 WE WERE UP TO DATE. AS ARTIFACTS CONTINUE TO COME IN FOR THE MUSEUM, WE ARE NUMBERING AND RECORDING THEM.

2023 HAS BEEN A YEAR TO BRING IN SUPPORT AND WORK ON GRANTS. ALTHOUGH THERE WASNT MUCH ACTIVITY AT THE BUILDING WE HAVE WORKED DILIGENTLY TO GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT GCHA, WE ATTENDING THE WEEKLY FARMERS MARKET AND OTHER LOCAL ACTIVITIES. WE SOLD THE BLANKETS, TSHIRTS, 1976 CENTENIAL BOOKS, RAFFLE TICKETS, LOCAL BOOKS, DONATED COSTUME JEWELRY, HANDED OUT BROCHURES AND SIGNING UP NEW MEMBERS. WE ALSO SENT OUT QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS, MARKETED ON SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE AND BROCHURE.HOUSEHOLD ITEMS WERE DONATED, STORED AND SOLD FROM THE BUILDING. GCHA IS MOVING CLOSER TO THE GOAL OF OPENING THE MUSEUM. RAFFLE ITEMS WERE DONATED, SALES OF BOOKS WERE SPLIT WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT.WE CONTINUE TO UPDATE OUR HISTORICAL DISPLAYS AT TRAVEL & TOURISM AND IN THE WINDOWS OF OUR BUILDING WITH HISTORICAL EVENTS FROM THE EARLY YEARS OF OUR COUNTY. THIS HAS BROUGHT SIGNIFICANT INTEREST IN OUR ASSOCIATION AND WHAT WE ARE DOING.
