AT TAMASSEE, WE BELIEVE IN FAMILIES, AND OUR RECOVERY PROGRAM AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS EMPOWER MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN TO FIND LASTING FREEDOM AND WHOLENESS. TAMASSEE'S RECOVERY PROGRAM OFFERS A FAITH-INFUSED, FAMILY-CENTERED, THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY WITH HOLISTIC, EVIDENCE-BASED, TRAUMA-INFORMED SERVICES. NESTLED IN THE FOOTHILLS OF THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS, TAMASSEE'S CAMPUS PROVIDES A SAFE AND LOVING HOME TO FAMILIES DURING THE 18 TO 24 MONTH PROGRAM. TAMASSEE SUPPORTS EACH FAMILY'S REINTEGRATION INTO THE LARGER COMMUNITY SO MOMS CAN MAINTAIN LONG-TERM RECOVERY, SECURE HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILY, AND CHILDREN CAN THRIVE IN SCHOOL AND LIFE.


TAMASSEE DAR SCHOOL'S AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM SERVES K-8TH GRADE STUDENTS BY HELPING THEM GROW ACADEMICALLY THROUGH TUTORING AND HOMEWORK HELP, LEARN RESILIENCY SKILLS THROUGH TRAUMA INFORMED CARE PRACTICES, EXPLORE SELF-INTERESTS THROUGH A WIDE VARIETY OF ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, AND BECOME RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS THROUGH OUR TAMASSEE NAVIGATOR PROGRAM.


TAMASSEE DAR SCHOOL'S EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING PROGRAM PROVIDES FULL-DAY CARE FOR INFANTS, TODDLERS, AND PRESCHOOLERS AGED 3 MONTHS TO 4 YEARS. OUR CLASSES USE THE TEACHING STRATEGIES GOLD CURRICULUM WHICH FOCUSES ON PLAY-BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING THROUGH DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICES.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDES THE DIETARY COMPONENT SHARED BY EACH PROGRAM AND BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS WHICH MAINTAINS THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE CAMPUS.
