NEW FREEDOM FARM OFFERS EQUINE-FACILITATED LEARNING TO VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM OFFERS MANY DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE HORSE AS A PARTNER ON THE GROUND. NEW FREEDOM FARM FOLLOWS AN OPEN PROGRAM, PARTICIPANTS DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, AND THE FARM IS OPEN TO ALL VETERANS TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. NEW FREEDOM FARM PROVIDES REFUGE AND REHABILITATION FROM TRAUMA TO VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS, AND EQUINES, INCLUDING OUR RESCUED AMERICAN MUSTANG.

RESCUED EQUINES AND WILD MUSTANGS ARE ADOPTED, GENTLED AND TRAINED TOGETHER WITH VETERANS, WHO DESIRE WORKING WITH HORSES. THESE DYNAMIC PARTNERSHIPS AND RELATIONSHIPS HELP THE VETERANS AND THE RESCUED EQUINES/WILD MUSTANGS. THE HORSE/HUMAN CONNECTION TO CHALLENGE AND INSPIRE PERSONAL GROWTH IN VETERANS SUFFERING FROM PTS, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND/OR TBI'S.
VETERANS ATTEND WEEKLY SUPPORT GROUP TO DISCUSS ISSUES WITH WHICH THEY STRUGGLE SUCH AS PTSD/TBI, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND SECONDARY TRAUMA.
ANNUAL THANKSGIVING MEAL PREPARED FOR HOMELESS VETERANS AND/OR VETERANS WHO HAVE NO PLACE TO GO FOR THANKSGIVING.
