LEGAL STRATEGY:ENGAGE STATE AND FEDERAL LEGAL ADVISORS TO ESTABLISH COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF LEGAL ISSUES FOR THE BENEFIT OF STATE WILDLIFE MANAGERS AS THEY FULFILL OFFICIAL DUTIES IN THE FIELD AND COMPLY WITH LEGAL AND REGULATORY CHANGES. INCREASE MEMBER AND PARTNER UNDERSTANDING OF MANAGEMENT AND JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES. STRENGTHEN UNDERSTANDING OF STATE MANAGEMENT WITHIN THE LEGAL PROFESSION.


BEARWISE:BEARWISE IS AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM RUN BY THE ASSOCIATION OF FISH AND WILDLIFE AGENCIES THRU AWARE WITH THE PURPOSE OF HELPING PEOPLE TO LIVE SAFELY WITH BLACK BEARS. BEARWISE HELPS HOMEOWNERS, BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITIES COEXIST WITH BLACK BEARS. BEARWISE SHARES WAYS TO PREVENT CONFLICTS, PROVIDES RESOURCES TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS, AND ENCOURAGES COMMUNITY INITIATIVES TO KEEP BEARS WILD
