FRIENDS OF TAVARUA SUPPORTED AND QUICKLY CONSUMMATED CHARITABLE PANDEMIC RELIEF EFFORTS GIVEN THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY OF THE RAPID SPREAD OF THE DEADLY COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN FIJI. FRIENDS OF TAVARUA PROVIDED A SERIES OF CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SERVICES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF FIJI OF VARIOUS COVID-19 TESTS AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR DISTRIBUTION TO LOCAL HOSPITALS, AND POTENTIALLY TO OTHER NONPROFIT AND/OR GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES, IN FIJI, BASED ON LOCAL COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS. FRIENDS OF TAVARUA UNDERTOOK REASONABLE EFFORTS UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES TO ENSURE THAT ITS DONATIONS WERE FOR THE INTENDED PURPOSES, CONSISTENT WITH FRIENDS OF TAVARUA'S SECTION 501(C)(3) TAX-EXEMPT STATUS AND CHARITABLE MISSION.
