THE 2021 FRESH COAST FILM FESTIVAL OCCURRED OCTOBER 14-17. DURING THE EVENT, WE SHOWED 125 FILMS THAT CELEBRATE THE NATURAL RESOURCES, BEAUTY, DIVERSITY, AND PEOPLE OF THE GREAT LAKES REGION. WE HELD 9 OUTDOORS TOURS, HAD OVER 80 ARTISTS AND SUBJECTS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE VENUES WITH OVER 1400 PARTICIPANTS IN ATTENDANCE THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL WEEKEND. WE ALSO HELD OUR FRESH COAST FREE EVENT ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND HAD OVER 500 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. AS THIS WAS OUR FIRST FESTIVAL POST-COVID, WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE PARTICIPANT LEVELS AND ENTHUSIASM. OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT INCLUDES AN ESTIMATED 150,000 GOING BACK IN THE LOCAL BUSINESSES IN AND AROUND MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN.
