OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE CINEMA AND COMMUNITY IN TANDEM. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE EXHIBITION OF FOREIGN FILMS INDEPENDENTLY PRODUCED FILMS AND ART FILMS WHICH WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH COMMERCIAL OUTLETS.

IN JUNE OF 2021 THE NIGHTLIGHT CINEMA RE-OPENED ITS PHYSICAL SPACE TO THE PUBLIC AFTER AN EXTENDED IN-THEATER CLOSURE DUE TO COVID-19. THE CINEMA REMAINED AT LIMITED CAPACITY THROUGHOUT 2021 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CDC AND COMMUNITY OFFICIAL GUIDANCE. WE HAVE CONTINUED TO BRING TOP TIER CINEMA TO AKRON AND THE NIGHTLIGHT WAS ABLE TO KEEP BRINGING FILMS TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH A VARIETY OF AVENUES INCLUDING OUTDOOR SCREENINGS ONLINE AND IN THEATER SCREENINGS.
