SPUR'S MISSION IS TO INSPIRE EFFECTIVE PHILANTHROPY FOR THE WOOD RIVER VALLEY. WE SEEK TO: EXPAND FUNDING TO THE NONPROFIT SECTOR FOSTER EXCELLENCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY AMONG LOCAL NONPROFITS ASSIST DONORS WITH THEIR GIVING.

1. SPUR MAKES GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FROM DISCRETIONARY FUNDS AND DONOR ADVISED FUNDS. IN 2021 A TOTAL OF 2,496,006 WAS DISTRIBUTED TO 70 ORGANIZATIONS.
2. SPUR FOSTERS EXCELLENCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY AMONG NONPROFITS SERVING THE WOOD RIVER VALLEY IN IDAHO. WE PROVIDE A VARIETY OF SERVICES, INCLUDING LEADERSHIP COACHING, CONSULTING, BENCHMARKING AND ASSESSMENTS.
DONOR SERVICES: SPUR GATHERS AND MAINTAINS A KNOWLEDGE LIBRARY WITH DETAILS ABOUT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE THE WOOD RIVER VALLEY SO THAT WE CAN BE A RESOURCE TO PHILANTHROPY-MINDED INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT INFORMATION TO HELP GUIDE THEIR CHARITABLE GIVING.
