THE MISSION OF THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE ALLIANCE OF YMCAS IS: TO FOSTER STATEWIDE COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION AMONG YMCAS; GAIN CONSENSUS ON ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO YMCAS; MAKE POLICY AND DECISION MAKERS AWARE OF THE YMCA 'S MISSION AND PROGRAMS AND GAIN RECOGNITION AS A LEADER ON ISSUES THAT AFFECT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES; ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES SERVED BY THE YMCA; AND, PROTECT THE OPERATING INTEGRITY OF THE YMCA ORGANIZATION.

NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGS - BIENNIAL MEETINGS WITH CEOS AND OTHER Y LEADERS IN EACH OF THE ALLIANCE'S FIVE (5) NEIGHBORHOODS DURING WHICH THE TOPICS INCLUDE: KEY SERVICE DELIVERY UPDATES; POLICY AND ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES AND UPDATES; AND GENERAL DISCUSSION WITH THE PARTICIPANTS.
THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE ALLIANCE OF YMCA'S DELIVERS SUPPORT, SERVICES AND INFORMATION TO THE YMCA ASSOCIATIONS ACROSS THE STATE. OUR RESPONSIBILITY IS TO CREATE COLLABORATION AND SHARING OF INFORMATION, EXPERIENCE, AND EXPERTISE AMONG YMCA'S, AND TO CONNECT Y LEADERS TO INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YUSA THROUGH LINK WEBSITE AND OTHER COMMUNICATION SOURCES.
