TRANS MENTOR PROJECT- AN ONLINE MENTORING PROGRAM WHICH PAIRS TRANS AND GENDER-NON-CONFORMING TEENS AND ADULTS FOR WEEKLY MENTORING SESSIONS. IT ALSO OFFERS MONTHLY ON-LINE COMMUNITY EVENTS.


TRANS VOICES IN AUGUST OF 2022, SAM & DEVORAH FOUNDATION AND LIFE JACKET THEATRE COMPANY PARTNERED IN NYC TO OFFER A STORYTELLING WORKSHOP FOR TRANS AND NONBINARY YOUNG ADULTS. PROFESSIONAL ACTORS, ALL OF WHOM WERE TRANS OR NONBINARY, COACHED THE PARTICIPANTS THROUGH THE PROCESS OF WRITING AND SPEAKING THEIR TRUTH.


TRANS YOUTH RETREAT - AN ANNUAL RETREAT THAT PROVIDES TEENS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO CELEBRATE THEIR IDENTITIES IN A SAFE AND ACCEPTING COMMUNITY. LED BY TRAINED/SCREENED TRANS COUNSELORS, WE CREATE AN INCLUSIVE AND POSITIVE SPACE SO THAT TEENS FEEL CONNECTED TO THEIR GENDER DIVERSE PEERS AND SUPPORTIVE ADULT ROLE MODELS.
