OUR MISSION IS TO END HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY, AND RELATED ISSUES FOR ALL PERSONS IN SOUTHEAST IOWA.

WE PROVIDED HOUSING FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF HOMELESS PEOPLE IN 2022. WE OPENED IN JANUARY 2022 AS A RESIDENTIAL SHELTER PROVIDING HOUSING FOR UP TO 13 INDIVIDUALS AT A TIME,INCLUDING MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN. WE WORKED WITH OUR CLIENTS TOWARD A GOAL OF LOCATING PERMANENT HOUSING. ALONG WITH HOUSING, WE HELPED OUR CLIENTS WITH GETTING COPIES OF THEIR ID'S,MEDICAL & FOOD ASSISTANCE AND TRAVEL EXPENSES, SUCH AS BUS FARE TO AND FROM JOBS OR APPLICATIONS FOR WORK.
