TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF HOMELESS, UNWANTED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS IN RUSSELL COUNTY, VA. TWO PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: PROMOTE REPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND ENCOURAGE SPAY/NEUTER.

THERE WERE 43 PETS THAT RECEIVED URGENT VETERINARY CARE (21 CATS & 22 DOGS). LIFE-SAVING VACCINES WERE ADMINISTERED TO 71 PETS. MEDICATION ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO 112 PETS. THERE WERE 135 PETS THAT WERE ALTERED (83 CATS & 52 DOGS),BRINGING THE TOTAL TO 614 SINCE 2016. OUTREACH SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 28 PET OWNERS, BETTERING THE LIVES OF 95 PETS.
