ALL AGES MUSIC PORTLAND FRIENDS OF NOISE IS AN ORGANIZATION SEEKING TO FOSTER HEALING & GROWTH FOR CREATIVE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY VIA THE ARTS BY HOSTING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS & INCLUSIVE ALL AGES CONCERTS THAT PROVIDE LIVE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH.

ALL AGES MUSIC PORTLAND HAD THE PRIVILEDGE TO ACT AS FISCAL SPONSOR FOR ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE MISSION ALIGN WITH OUR ORGANIZATION.


ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2022: HOSTED 13 BIPOC CENTERED OPEN MIC EVENTS WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR AND THEIR ALLIES CAN SHARE CREATIVITY LIKE POETRY MUSIC AND STORIES. CONTINUED WORK ON OUR ROSE CITY RISING INTERGENERATIONAL COLLABORATIVE RECORDING PROJECT THAT PROVIDES OUR YOUTH PARTICIPANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE MUSIC FOR SELF EXPRESSION ACCESS TO MENTORSHIP AND EXPOSURE TO THE STEPS INVOLVED IN RECORDING AND RELEASING AN ALBUM OF NEW MUSIC. ADVOCATED FOR YOUTH ARTISTS TO PERFORM AT 4 MAJOR FESTIVALS IN PORTLAND DURING SUMMER OF 2022 EXPOSING THESE ARTISTS TO HUNDREDS OF AUDIENCE MEMBERS. EXPANDED OUR SOUND ENGINEERING PROGRAM TO INCLUDE 15 TEEN SOUND ENGINEERS. PROVIDED EVENT SERVICES FOR OVER 80 CLIENT EVENTS WHICH IN TURN PROVIDED PAY FOR YOUTH PERFORMERS AND SOUND ENGINEERS. 4 WORKSHOPS CONCERTS EVENTS IN COLLABORATION WITH PARTNER ORGS: 2 SOUND ENGINEERING WORKSHOPS LIVESET 1 RELEASING AND MARKETING YOUR NEW MUSIC 1 YOUTH DJ WORKSHOP. 23 CONCERTS EVENTS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL AGES 13 BIPOC CENTERED YOUTH OPEN MIC EVENTS COLLABORATIONS WITH THESE PARTNER ORGS: ARTS FOR LEARNING NW BODECKER FOUNDATION ALBERTA MAIN STREET PORTLAND PIONEER SQUARE HIP HOP FOR LOVE A BEAT HAPPENING APANO ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN NETWORK OF OREGON DEPAVE ALDER COMMONS. COMPLETED 48 EPISODES OF FRIENDS OF NOISE PRESENTS ON XRAY.FM A WEEKLY RADIO SHOW CURATED AND HOSTED BY 12 YOUTH DJS AUDIENCE 2720; WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS 35; PAID ARTISTS: 263; PAID YOUTH SOUND ENGINEERS 15; PAID YOUTH DJS 4; 2100 UNIQUE PARTICIPANTS
