PHANDEEYAR ("CREATION PLACE") IS A COMMUNITY TECH HUB THAT IS SPEARHEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF MYANMAR'S TECH & SOCIAL INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM. PHANDEEYAR DOES THIS IN TWO WAYS: BY HELPING CHANGE AGENTS USE TECHNOLOGY TO INCREASE THEIR IMPACT; AND BY BUILDING THE COUNTRY'S POOL OF DIGITALLY-ENABLED ENTERPRISES AND TECH TALENT.

ACCELERATOR/ PHANDEEYAR SERVICES. PHANDEEYAR IS BUILDING THE POOL OF LOCAL TECHNICAL TALENT AND DIGITALLY ENABLED ENTERPRISES THAT CAN DEVELOP THE DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT MYANMAR NEEDS. WE SUPPORT PROMISING BUSINESSES, AND THROUGH OUR FLAGSHIP PROJECTS HELP ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS TO LAUNCH THEIR COMPANIES. WE ALSO RUN CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND HACKATHONS TO HELP DEVELOPERS AND DESIGNERS TO IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS, AS WELL AS PROGRAMS TO HELP ORGANIZATIONS ADAPT TO THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND DEVELOP INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS.


SAFE INTERNET PHANDEEYAR HELPS CHANGE AGENTS, SUCH AS CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS, INDEPENDENT MEDIA AND AND CIVIC AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS, INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY INTO THEIR WORK TO INCREASE THEIR IMPACT. WE RAN WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, AND MEETUPS TO HELP INDEPENDENT VOICES THRIVE IN MYANMAR'S DIGITAL MEDIA ENVIRONMENT. PHANDEEYAR ALSO HELPED ADDRESS SOME OF THE TRAINING TO HELP PEOPLE UNDERSTAND HOW TO SAFELY AND RESPONSIBLY USE SOCIAL MEDIA. PHANDEEYAR SUPPORTED COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT WANTED TO USE SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL CONTENT TO PROMOTE POSITIVE MESSAGES ABOUT PEACE, TOLERANCE, AND INTER-COMMUNAL HARMONY.
