ANNUAL CONVENTION & EXPOSITION - THE GOAL OF THE ANNUAL CONVENTION & EXPOSITION IS: THE CONVENTION WILL BE A FINANCIALLY SUCCESSFUL FORUM WHERE (A) NETWORKING AMONG MEMBERS AND BETWEEN VENDORS OCCURS AND (B) THE BEST AND HIGHLY RELEVANT TECHNICAL PAPERS ARE PRESENTED. THE 2021 ANNUAL MEETING WAS HELD IN WHICH OVER 30 TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS SESSIONS WERE HELD. THE ANNUAL MEETING PROVIDES FIRST CLASS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, DISCUSSIONS, SESSIONS ON THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET WITH SUPPLIERS AND OTHER EXPERTS IN THE INDUSTRY. OVER 700 INDIVIDUALS ATTEND THE ANNUAL CONVENTION. AT THE 2021 CONVENTION, ATTENDEES LEARNED ABOUT BIOCIDES, COOLING WATER, LEGIONELLNA AND WASTEWATER. AWT RECOGNIZES EXCELLENCE IN THE INDUSTRY THROUGH OUR RAY BAUM MEMORIAL AWARD AND THE SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR AWARD.
COMMUNICATIONS - THE GOALS OF THE ANALYST PUBLICATION AND AWT COMMUNICATIONS ARE: THE ANALYST IS THE MAGAZINE IN THE WATER TREATMENT INDUSTRY THAT EVERYONE READS. THE ANALYST AND OTHER AWT COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDE READERS A WEALTH OF TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND FEATURES ARTICLES FROM THE INDUSTRY'S LEADING EXPERTS. THE ANALYST IS DISTRIBUTED FOUR TIMES PER YEAR. AWT ALSO COMMUNICATES WITH MEMBERS AT LEAST ON A MONTHLY BASIS THROUGH E-COMMUNICATIONS.
EDUCATION/TECHNICAL TRAINING SEMINARS - THE GOAL OF THE AWT TECHNICAL TRAINING SEMINARS IS: AWT WILL BE VIEWED AS THE PREMIER SOURCE FOR TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN THE INDUSTRY. AWT LEADS THE INDUSTRY AS THE BEST SOURCE FOR TECHNICAL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION. ONE TECHNICAL TRAINING MEETING WAS HELD IN 2021. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ATTENDEES WAS APPROXIMATELY 100 INDIVIDUALS.
