THE HCANJ FOUNDATION, INC. IS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND QUALITY OF CARE AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS AND CAREGIVERS IN THE SUB-ACUTE AND LONG TERM CARE COMMUNITY WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

GRANTS FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT & EDUCATION - EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT GRANT HCANJ FOUNDATION WORKS WITHIN THE NEW JERSEY HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATIONS EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ALLIANCE (NJHAEPA) TO ADVANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NJDHSS HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE MASTER PLAN COVERING THE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE ACTIVITIES. THE ACTIVITIES DESCRIBED IN THE MASTER PLAN CONFORM TO THE FRAMEWORK SET FORTH IN NJDHSS DOCUMENT: RESPONDING TO PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCIES: NEW JERSEY STRATEGY. -EDUCATION PROJECT FIRSTLINE GRANT THE EDUCATION GRANT "PROJECT FIRSTLINE" FOCUSES ON EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR ALL LEVELS OF FACILITY STAFF TO IMPROVE INFECTION CONTROL AWARENESS IN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES.


PROCEEDS FROM ANY CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING GO TO THE 501C(3) HCANJ FOUNDATION TO ENABLE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL LONG TERM CARE RESIDENTS AND PROVIDERS.
