TO PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD A HEALTHY SPIRIT,BODY, AND MIND FOR ALL.

SPORTS AND RECREATION- THE YMCA OFFERS A FULL SERVICE GYM FACILITY WITH A RANGE OF GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES. SPORTS AND RECREATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE A FALL AND SPRING FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE AS WELL AS A WINTER AND SPRING YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE. PROGRAMS AVERAGE AROUND 350 PARTICIPANTS. THE SPORTING LEAGUES TEACH BASIC SPORT SKILLS WHILE ALSO TEACHING THE YMCA CORE VALUES OF CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, AND RESPONSIBILITY. YOUTH DEVELOP CONFIDENCE, TEAMWORK, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND PERSEVERANCE WHILE PARTICIPATING IN OUR YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES. HOLISTIC HEALTH CLASSES WERE ALSO OFFERED.


CHILDCARE- EARLY LEARNING CHILD CARE PROGRAMS PROVIDE A SAFE, ENRICHING, AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT FOR NEWBORN TO 5 YEAR YEAR OLDS. OUR EARLY LEARNING CHILD CARE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT BOZEMAN SCHOOL DISTRICT STAFF WITH ALL DAY CHILD CARE, AS WELL AS TEENAGE PARENTS IN THE BOZEMAN SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES ON SITE CHILD CARE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL SO TEENAGE PARENTS CAN CONTINUE STUDIES AND GRADUATE WITH PEERS. ONCE CHILDREN REACH THE AGE OF 3, THEY ARE ENROLLED IN OUR KINDERGARTEN READINESS PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR KINDERGARTEN.


CAMPS- SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS AVERAGED SERVING 120 CHILDREN/WEEK IN THE SUMMER TIME, AGES K-5TH GRADE, FOCUSING ON FULL DAY CAMP EXPERIENCES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT WORKING PARENTS AND PROVIDE YOUTH WITH A SAFE ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT. OUT OF SCHOOL CARE DAYS ARE OFFERED DURING SCHOOL YEAR HOLIDAYS AND GENERALLY SERVE ABOUT 20 STUDENTS PER OFFERING. THESE OUT OF SCHOOL CARE DAYS ALSO SUPPORT WORKING PARENTS AND ALLOW CHILDREN AN ENRICHING, SAFE EXPERIENCE WHILE OUT OF SCHOOL. BOTH SUMMER CAMP AND OUT OF SCHOOL CARE DAYS INTEGRATE KEY MATH, SCIENCE, AND LITERACY COMPONENTS INTO THE CURRICULUM AS WELL AS THE YMCA CORE VALUES OF CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, AND RESPONSIBILITY.
