MREA RETAINS LEGAL COUNSEL TO REVIEW CONTRACTS WITH VARIOUS ENTITIES, AND TO GIVE MEMBER DISTRICTS LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING OPERATION OF THEIR SCHOOL DISTRICTS, AND ASSIST THE ORGANIZATION WITH LEGAL MATTERS THAT WOULD COME BEFORE THE ASSOCIATION AS IT WORKS TO SUPPORT AND ADVOCATE FOR RURAL SCHOOLS IN MONTANA.

THE MREA BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAVE ELECTED TO FUND SCHOLARSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES ON CAMPUSES IN MONTANA WHERE STUDENT TEACHERS ARE ASSIGNED TO AN MREA MEMBER SCHOOL DISTRICT. SCHOOL TEACHER RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN AT CRITICAL LEVELS FOR THE PAST DECADE AND THIS IS ONE OF SEVERAL INITITATIVES THAT MREA USES TO SUPPORT AND ADVOCATE FOR RURAL SCHOOLS IN MONTANA.
