THE PROGRAM SERVICES APPROXIMATELY 150 PLAYERS. IN ADDITION TO THE BOARD MEMBERS, THE PROGRAM HAS THE SUPPORT OF AN ADDITIONAL 45-50 COACHES AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS WHO DONATE AN ESTIMATED 4,200 HOURS TO THE LEAGUE. THE LEAGUE HAS BENEFITED FROM $7,018 IN GRANTS AND DONATIONS. THE LEAGUE ALSO UTILIZES PLAYING FIELDS PROVIDED BY THE COSTA MESA PARKS & RECS AT NO CHARGE, VALUED AT $35,600. THE LONG TERM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE LEAGUE IS TO CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY AS IT HAS ALWAYS DONE WHILE EXPERIENCING STEADY GROWTH. EXPANDED FALL AND SPRING PROGRAMS ARE PLANNED AND NEW FUNDRAISING EFFORTS WILL BE INITIATED. GRANTS OF $1,560 WERE GIVEN TO COSTA MESA HIGH SCHOOL AREA BASEBALL CLUBS.
