THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENROLL POTENTIAL BONE MARROW DONORS FOR THE NATIONAL MARROW DONOR PROGRAM.OUR EMPHASIS IS DIVERSIFYING THE REGISTRY BY ENROLLINGAS MANY MINORITY DONORS AS POSSIBLE. WE ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION BY ORGANIZING AND MANAGING MARROW DRIVES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.IN 2015, MARROW NATION SPONSORED AND CONDUCTED 50 DONOR RECRUITMENT DRIVES, PRIMARILY IN THE SOUTHEASTERN REGION OF THE UNITED STATES. THE MAJORITY WERE HELD ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES OF FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY, FLORIDA A AND M UNIVERSITY, TALLAHASSEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, BETHUME UNIVERSITY, JOHN WILLIAMS COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, STATE COLLEGE OF FLORIDA, TAMPA UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA, ST. PETERSBURG COLLEGE, CLARKE UNIVERSITY AND AT PRIVATE BUSINESSES.THE RESULTS OF THE 2015 DRIVES ARE 2000 NEW DONORS REGISTERED, WENT ON THE BE THE MATCH REGISTRY. OF THOSE, 70% ARE MINORITY DONORS. (NON-WHITE) IN 2015 MARROW NATION ACHIEVED ITS GOAL OF REGISTERING A TOTAL OF OVER 20003 DONORS OF WHICH MORE THAN 70% WERE MEMBERS OF A MINORITY.IN 2015 MARROW NATION PROUDLY ANNOUNCED THAT THE FOURTIETH PATIENT RECEIVED A MARROW TRANSPLANT FROM A DONER RECRUITED AT ONE OF THEIR DRIVES. THAT TRANSLATES TO FORTY PATIENTS WHO MIGHT NOT HAD THAT SECOND CHANCE OF LIFE WERE IT NOT FOR THE EFFORTS OF MARROW NATION
