TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE LEARNING-CHALLENGED POST SECONDARY STUDENTS TO SUCCEED IN ACADEMICS AND DEVELOP THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO LIVE AND WORK INDEPENDENTLY IN THEIR ADULT LIFE.

OPTIONS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS WORKED WITH STUDENTS WHO WERE ENROLLED IN OUR RESIDENTIAL, EXTENSION OR TRANSITION PROGRAM SERVICES. THERE WAS CONTINUED EXPANSION OF INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICES TO PART-TIME STUDENTS NEEDING ONLY LIMITED SUPPORT TO SUCCEED IN THEIR EDUCATIONAL STUDIES. STUDENTS PROGRESSED THROUGH THE PROGRAM, WITH APPROXIMATELY 1/3 OF THE STUDENTS FULLY COMPLETING THE PROGRAM AND/OR BEGINNING A TRANSITION PROGRAM TO IDEPENDENT LIVING.ADDITIONALLY, TRANSITION SERVICES WERE FURTHER BROADENED TO PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT AND COACHING TO STUDENTS IN SELECTING CAREERS AND MONITORING PROGRESS IN THE WORK FORCE AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THEIR EDUCATIONAL STUDIES.
