OUR WORK RESULTED IN KEY ADVOCACY WINS; STRENGTHENING OUR ORGANIZING IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH; EXPANDING OUR REACH; SUPPORTING OUR LEADERS TO STEP INTO HIGHER-LEVEL ROLES IN OUR ORGANIZATION AND REPRESENTING US IN STATE AND FEDERAL WORK. TOGETHER WE ADVOCATED FOR AND PASSED SIGNIFICANT POLICY PACKAGES THAT IS CREATING THE FOUNDATION FOR A UNIVERSAL CHILD CARE SYSTEM IN OREGON. WE PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN ADVOCATING FOR A BILL THAT PROVIDES IMMEDIATE AND LONG-TERM RELIEF TO OREGON'S MOST VULNERABLE FAMILIES IN NEED OF CHILD CARE BY ESTABLISHING THE DEPARTMENT OF EARLY LEARNING AND CARE, MAKING REFORMS TO OREGON'S PUBLIC CHILD CARE PROGRAM, AND CREATING MORE FINANCIAL STABILITY FOR PROVIDERS AND PARENTS-INCLUDING LOW-INCOME AND SINGLE-PARENT FAMILIES, AND BIPOC MOTHERS AND CAREGIVERS.
