THE SAN JUAN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SJCEF) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF VOLUNTEER PARENTS WHO DEDICATE THEIR TIME TO RAISE FUNDS TO ENRICH THE SCHOOL CHILDRENS' EDUCATION. SAN JUAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RECEIVES STATE FUNDING AND THAT MONEY PROVIDES FOR A BASIC CURRICULUM. THE MONIES RAISED THROUGH SUPPORT OF THE FOUNDATION BENEFIT THE SAN JUAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE STUDENTS DIRECTLY THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF EDUCATIONAL ITEMS SUCH AS BOOKS, COMPUTERS, FIELD TRIPS AND STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. THE NUMBER OF PERSONS BENEFITTED ARE APPROXIMATELY 800 STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF.
