DREAMCATCHERS IS AN AWARD WINNING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY SERVING 60+ LOW INCOME MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS AND THEIR 100+ PARENTS, LIVING IN EAST PALO ALTO AND PALO ALTO.OUR FREE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AND MENTORING PROGRAM HELPS PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED MENTORING,TUTORING, AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO HELP OUR STUDENTS BE "HIGH SCHOOL READY" BY THE END OF THEIR THIRD YEAR IN THE PROGRAM (8TH GRADE). 80+ STUDENT VOLUNTEERS, FROM LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS ORSTANFORD UNIVERSITY, DELIVER 6000+ HOURS OF 1:1 TUTORING PER YEAR. STUDENT VOLUNTEERS LEARN FROM OUR STAFF TO MENTOR, TEACH, AND CONNECT WITH OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY PROVIDING A RICH SOCIAL JUSTICE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL.
