Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
MEDICFORCE PROVIDES MEDICAL TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT TO REMOTE COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. THE MAIN FOCUS FOR 2017 WAS BELIZE, WHERE MEDICFORCE ASSISTED COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH TRAINING AND DATA COLLECTION. THE MEDICFORCE RURAL PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM IS FOR COMMUNITIES THAT DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A GOVERNMENT FUNDED PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM (NORMALLY 15 CHILDREN AGED 3-4 YEARS OLD.) OUR PROGRAM WOULD CONSIST OF A DEDICATED BUILDING, PREFERABLY THE SCHOOL BUILDING COORDINATED BY AN IN-COUNTRY PROJECT MANAGER AND COMMUNITY BASED TEACHER. THE PROGRAM WOULD BE OFFERED TWICE A WEEK AND WOULD CONSIST OF TWO-HOUR SESSIONS. TEACHER AND VILLAGE PREFERENCES WOULD ESTABLISH THE TIMES AND LOCATION OF PROGRAM. THIS IS TO ALLOW PROGRAM FLEXIBILITY TO INCREASE THE POTENTIAL OF CHILDREN ATTENDANCE. TEACHERS WILL BE CERTIFIED AND HIRED BASED ON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS THAT ARE OUTLINED IN TEACHER APPLICATION. THIS TEACHER WOULD RECEIVE ONE ELECTRONIC TABLET FOR EVERY CHILD AND USE THIS IN CONJUNCTION WITH TRADITIONAL LEARNING TECHNIQUES TO FURTHER EXPOSE CHILDREN TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT CHILDREN SUITABLE FOR THE PROGRAM ARE TAUGHT DURING THE TIME ADULTS ATTEND TRADITIONAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS HARVEST, CHURCH, MARKET DAY ETC. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE AT LEAST FOUR HOURS OF ENGLISH EDUCATION PER WEEK.
