THE GLOBAL EQUITY ORGANIZATION (GEO) IS A MEMBER-FOUNDED AND MEMBER-DRIVEN NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF EQUITY COMPENSATION WORLDWIDE THROUGH A GLOBAL COMMUNITY OF WELL-INFORMED PROFESSIONALS.

ANNUAL CONFERENCETHE 22ND ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE GLOBAL EQUITY ORGANIZATION (GEO) WAS HELD VIRTUALLY FOR GEO MEMBERS AROUND THE WORLD DURING THE MONTHS OF SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 2021. THE CONFERENCE ATTRACTED NEARLY 800 DELEGATES FROM AN ESTIMATED 20 COUNTRIES FOR A MEETING THAT INCLUDED MORE THAN 50 EDUCATIONAL, NETWORKING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES. IN TOTAL, THE CONFERENCE PROVIDED MORE THAN 30 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS FOR DELEGATES AROUND THE GLOBE AND WAS PRODUCED ENTIRELY VIRTUALLY TO CONTINUE TO SERVE GEO MEMBERS DURING TIMES OF WORK AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS.
WEB BASED EDUCATION AND VIRTUAL LOCAL CHAPTER MEETINGS GEO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION TO BRING SHARE PLAN EDUCATION TO PARTICIPANTS AROUND THE GLOBE WITH A FOCUS ON REGULAR, RECURRING LIVE WEB-BASED SESSIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, PRODUCED BOTH REGIONALLY BY GEO'S LOCAL CHAPTERS AND FROM THE ORGANIZATION CENTRALLY. IN 2020, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED OUR GLOBAL MEMBERSHIP OF NEARLY 5,000 MEMBERS WITH FREE ONLINE PROGRAMMING THAT INCLUDED WEBCASTS, VIRTUAL LOCAL CHAPTER MEETINGS AND TWO REGIONAL, CHAPTER BASED VIRTUAL CONFERENCES. OUR 2021 LINEUP OF EDUCATION OFFERINGS ALSO INCLUDED SPECIAL MULTI DAY VIRTUAL REGIONAL EVENTS FOR OUR MEMBERS IN CALIFORNIA AS WELL AS AUSTRALIA, SERVING THESE AUDIENCES WITH SPECIALLY DESIGNED EDUCATION AND NETWORKING PROGRAMS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF MEMBERS IN THESE AREAS.
