Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

THE SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY EDUCATIONAL PARTNERSHIP (DBA AS SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY PTO) EXISTS TO SUPPORT SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITH SCHOOL-DAY PROGRAMS, INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT THAT ONE WOULD NOT OTHERWISE FIND IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL. THIS ALLOWS SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN ITS HERITAGE OF OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NOT ONLY RELIES ON CONTINUED FUNDING FROM THE EVERGREEN SCHOOL DISTRICT BUT ALSO NEEDS THE SUPPLEMENTAL SUPPORT FROM THE SILVER OAK PTO.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE ENRICHMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF THE STUDENTS OF THE SILVER OAK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BY PROVIDING THE SCHOOL WITH ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR SCHOOL AND STUDENT ACTIVITIES. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION GAVE FUNDS FOR CLASSROOM ART AND MUSIC, TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT, AS WELL AS A FULLY FUNCTIONAL STEAM LAB, AMONG OTHERS. WITH THE ONSET OF COVID IN MARCH OF 2020, PTO ADDITIONALLY FOCUSED ON THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: -WE PROVIDED EXTENDED TIME FOR TEACHERS TO REQUEST REIMBURSEMENTS TOWARDS CLASSROOM GRANTS. -WE HAD TO STEP BACK FROM ALL ART AND MUSIC PROGRAMS AS THE SCHOOL CLOSED BUT THE PTO PAID FOR NEW CHROME BOOKS TO FACILITATE DISTANCE LEARNING DURING COVID.
